Silent Auction

New for Gary Con XVIII in March of 2026, will be the first ever Gary Con Silent Auction

An extension of the annual Gary Con Charity Auction, the Silent Auction will feature items donated by attendees, staff, and Special Guests, as well as treasures from the depths of the Gary Con merchandise closet.  Attendees will be able to preview items up for bidding throughout that day in a glass display case near the Registration/Help Desk.

From Thursday to Saturday we plan to feature five items at a time in approximately two-hour auctions across from the Gary Con Registration/Help Desk.

Silent Auction Schedule:
  • Thursday – 10:00am-8:00pm
  • Friday – 10:00am-8:00pm
  • Saturday – 10:00am-2:00pm

Bidders will need to write down their name, phone number, Gary Con badge number, and their bid (in whole dollar increments).  Unfortunately we will not be able to have proxy bids so you’ll need to make sure to stop by; however, we tried to choose a convenient location central to the majority of events, to allow as many attendees as possible a reasonable chance to place bids.

Once the bell rings at the end of every two hours, auctions will be considered closed—items will be gathered and replaced for the next round of bidding and Gary Con staff will notify the winning bidders, who can pick-up their items at the Registration/Help Desk.
